Hot (Bikram) Yoga

Bikram yoga is a system developed by Bikram Choudhury in the early 1970s. This new form, synthesized after more traditional hatha yoga, is designed to take place in high temperatures to ease muscles and prevent injury while stretching. Other benefits include the sweat induced fleshing out of toxins in the body. Hot yoga room temperatures range from 86-110 ˚ F, and humidity is usually between 40-60%.
